When you visit our YMCA, the first thing we want to know is what you want from your membership. That's why we are offering a joiner's fee of only $18.85 until September 26. We ensure that no one is turned away from the Y because of inability to pay. Ask a Member Relations staff member about our income-based pricing initiative.

Start the Journey

There is no one else quite like you. At the McGaw YMCA, we've built our wellness programs on 125 years of understanding the whole you, not just the physical you. And we understand the "how:" how difficult it is to pursue wellness and find balance in your life. To the "thank yous" we've received, and to the "thank yous" yet to come, we say "you're welcome" - to you the individual, not just the body who walked through our door, or just took a class they loved, or finished a session of personal training. And to that person who is not quite like anyone else, who hasn't yet walked through our door, we can also say... (you're welcome.)

Resources for Physical Well-being

Customized orientation: Meet one-on-one with a staff member to get started in the health and wellness center.
Group exercise classes: Spice up your routine with a free group class, like Zumba or Pilates.
Healthy living programs and swim activities get the whole family active.

Good Things to Know

Membership levels fit your lifestyle and include rates for adults, families, high schoolers, youth, and seniors.
Our income-based pricing initiative, Membership for All helps to ensure that no one is turned away from the Y because of inability to pay. Ask a Member Relations staff member for more info.
Parking: Pick up a free permit at the front desk for the parking lot in front of our main building, north of Grove St and Maple Ave.
The Beidler Babysitting Center is a supervised playroom for children 6 weeks through 5th grade, while parents or guardians use the YMCA facility. You get two free hours per day with a family membership.

More than exercise

Healthy living means a lot to us, but just as important are our programs for youth development and social responsibility. Taken together, we're strengthening the foundations of our community. Here are some ways we do that.
