Starting at 12:00pm (CT) on January 7, open enrollment begins for Traditional Camp, Teen Programs, Adventure Trips, and Family Camp. As we close another memorable year at the McGaw YMCA, I am inspired by the incredible stories of growth, connection, and community that define who we are. Every day, we see children learning to swim, neighbors finding stable housing, families staying active together, and elders discovering new interests and hobbies. In 2024, we celebrated key milestones, including the return of our Annual Gala and 100 years of Camp Echo! Our membership grew, and our community partnerships strengthened, solidifying our role as a leader in empowering youth and improving community wellness. We also made significant progress in planning and preparing for the Men’s Residence Renovation Project Capital Campaign, which is designed to give our Resident Members a modern, dignified home while enhancing our capacity to address critical housing needs here in Evanston.
