Kids Club Guidelines
We have established the following guidelines for participation in Kids Club.
We work with kids to set guidelines and boundaries based on their needs. Our staff is trained to help solve conflict through redirection and communication.
Kids Club is a family membership benefit for youth ages 2 to 11.
Youth may enjoy Kids Club for up to two hours per day. Parent/Supervising Individual must remain on Y property and be available in case of emergency.
Kids Club is a drop-in service that has capacity for up to 20 youth at a time. No reservations are required.
Kids Club staff do not change diapers and Parent/Supervising Individual will be called in these cases and for accidents.
Youth should wear socks and closed toe shoes. Please leave personal toys, snacks and drinks at home.
No food, drinks, or gum permitted. Bring your own water bottle (non-glass) with a secure lid.
Physical or verbal violence of any type is not allowed.
Parent/Supervising Individual will be asked to pick up child if their behavior becomes a risk to themselves or others.
The same Parent/Supervising Individual must drop off and pick up the child from Kids Club.
Keep kids home if they have had fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious rash, eye discharge, or yellow / green nasal discharge in past 24 hours.
Staff are trained to follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures. All touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned. All staff will be vaccinated.
Members and guests are required to follow the YMCA Code of Conduct.
Report any issues directly to a Y staff member.
